Super Easy Sipper Lids: Dishwasher Safe?

Quick Answer

No, the Ceres Chill Super Easy Sipper Lids are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing with warm, soapy water is recommended to preserve the silicone seal and prevent warping.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I clean my Super Easy Sipper Lid?

Rinse the lid under cool water immediately after use. Then wash it by hand using warm water and a mild dish soap. Use a soft sponge or cloth to gently clean all surfaces, including the spout and underside. Rinse thoroughly and air dry completely before reassembling.

Can I boil or sterilize the sipper lid?

Boiling is not recommended as it can damage the silicone. For sterilization, use a steam sterilizer that is safe for silicone parts, or soak in a cold-water sterilizing solution following the solution manufacturer's instructions. Always check the lid for any signs of wear after sterilization. If you use a sterilizer, inspect the silicone seal afterward for any changes in texture or fit.

What should I avoid when cleaning?

Avoid abrasive scrubbers, bleach, and harsh chemicals. Do not soak the lid in hot water for extended periods. Never use a dishwasher or microwave to clean or dry the lid. Store the lid away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
